Children’s minds are like little sponges soaking up as much knowledge as possible. Sometimes it can be frustrating when doing something where perfection is required, and your child wants to help!
What we tend to say is;
- oh, this is important; let me do it.
- Not now, maybe something else.
- This job is too big for you.
What we should say is, “okay, let’s do it together“. These are learning moments for our children. Let them help, and they will absorb knowledge just from being with you.
